PDM MedExpo and BioLink 2007, Another Successful Expo

“I am so glad that there is a company like PDM [Healthcare], who can take care of the business [of medicine],” so that practitioners can focus on the patient, Dr Robert Rey, world famous plastic surgeon and star of the hit TV show “Dr. 90210” announced to the crowd of healthcare executives, community leaders, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and manufacturers that gathered in Cleveland for the 7th Annual PDM MedExpo & BioLink 2007: the Wellness & LifeStyle Expo. The event took place on this past Friday, September 7th at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.

The exhibit hall was full of activity and designed to promote interaction between attendees and exhibitors. Beginning with this event, PDM launched a new theme at its MedExpo series, “Wellness & LifeStyle,” incorporating exhibits, services and technologies that provide practitioners with tools to better treat patients; promote and maintain their health status, encourage a wellness approach to the practice of medicine. In addition to caring for the patient, the event provided practitioners with tools to improve their own lifestyle – via improved practice management and revenue enhancement. The exhibit hall showcased pharmacy automation, financial planning services, electronic medical record management, and other new technologies designed to improve attendees’ businesses.

The day got off to an exciting start with keynote speaker Dr. Rey making pre-event promotional appearances on the radio and the WKYC-NBC station. Soon, all of Cleveland was buzzing about what an exciting program PDM had put together and what a great networking venue PDM MedExpo & BioLink creates for the healthcare community.

The crowd loved Dr. Rey’s interactive presentation, which incorporated anecdotes and video from his professional and personal life.
